Linda Kushner, Founder
Linda Kushner founded Custom Tours, Inc. in 1969 as a tour service for
visitors to the Southern California area. As the need for convention
services developed, the company reorganized and began providing complete
destination management services under the name Kushner & Associates.
Linda is still active in the business, and her responsibilities include
oversight of the accounting department and on-site management of optional
tours.
Susan Kushner, President
After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley, Susan
began working full time with Kushner & Associates in 1986. She has held
managment positions in both the operations and sales departments. Susan
is recognized as a transportation expert, having designed and implemented
convention shuttles for groups up to 60,000 people. Currently, she is
the owner and managing director of Kushner & Associates and provides
the leadership and expertise that will successfully move the company
into the 21st century.
Erika Hinzman, Account Manager
Erika joined the team at Kushner & Associates in 1996 after graduating
Cum Laude from the University of Southern California. She began her
career as a program assistant and has been promoted to Account Manager.
Her primary responsibilities include developing new business, servicing
existing accounts, and managing programs of all types and sizes.
Katie Moore, Director of Sales
Katie Moore, a Kushner & Associates team member since January, 2000,
contributes her wealth of experience with hotel service and corporate
meeting planning to her clients' programs. Having worked with the
Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company for over 7 years, Katie has extensive knowledge
of transportation, guest services, banquets, sales, and conference planning.
She focuses her efforts at Kushner & Associates on capturing the corporate
and incentive market for destination management.
Leanne Whang, Account Manager
Leanne came to Kushner & Associates as a program assistant in 1994.
Currently, she specializes in city-wide transportation systems, and
she has arranged shuttle service for groups as large as 50,000 people.
In addition, Leanne is responsible for providing services for corporate
clients.
Jonathon deKarr, Program Manager
Jon began working for Kushner & Associates as an independent contractor
in 1997. In August 1998, after serving three years at The Ritz-Carlton,
Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, Jon decided to move to Kushner & Associates
full-time, as a Program Manager. Jon coordinates both association and
corporate programs and strives to provide the highest-quality service
to ensure customer service.
Sabrina Ingber, Program Assistant
Sabrina joined the team in 1999. Sabrina was first introduced to the
hospitality industry when she was hired by UCSB to plan their 1998 Parents'
Weekend and the 1999 Commencement Ceremonies. As a program assistant,
Sabrina is involved in all facets of business at Kushner & Associates.
